I'm done with Inst(ant)gram.

I decided to delete Instagram, but why?

I was becoming a slave to it. From watching reels endlessly to caring soo much about how people perceive me and what I post. I just became so sucked up into the culture of judging people by their Instagram profile or the things they like. I didn’t like the place I was heading too and the person Instagram was influencing me to become. I feel like our society and this generation is slowly losing our grip on the reality and have become so influenced from how the online culture. I am so sick of that.

I decided to delete Instagram to start this journey of writing updates throughout my life and posting snippets like stories on here instead. Believe that would be much more intentional as to why I’m posting than to possibly start doing things just for the sake of popularity or how other’s would react.
There may be a time I will get back to Instagram but for now but not until I become completely detached from it.

I don’t know where this journey will go, but I’m excited to see where it leads!
